THANKS I have the same problem running iATKOS v7 with MacOSX 10.5.7 in a HP DV2Z laptop (AMD CPU), the sound only works when i move the mouse, as soon as i stop moving the mouse it starts to stutter/stops. I wonder if this could be some sort of kernel call/interrupt not being executed normally, which gets executed when the mouse is moved... Any tips or ideas? CharredPC
Very simple fix- run the DSDT patcher (if you need a link, follow the one in my sig's guide). Once the DSDT is created and installed, the sound issue is solved.
