Hi everyone, new to this forum :)

after a couple days, i've finally got osx running on my lappy (toshiba tecra a7)at proper res, albeit buggy. the main problem i'm having, im guessing is the drivers for my x1600m. i'm assuming i managed to use atiinject properly as sys profiler reports ci as hardware accelerated and qe as supported. now when i click on expose & spaces in system prefs, the laptop just freezes and i need to do a hard reset. also freezes occur randomly when i go to use expose (move mouse to top right or bottom).

a similar story applies when i try to play hi-res h264 encoded files with mplayer osx extended. the video either plays, real choppy for a few minutes (i can't do anything in that time) and then crashes. or video doesnt output at all, leaving me with audio and a black screen. i've tried movist and quicktime + perian. movist reports a crash, quicktime simply plays the video choppily, audio is usually 3-5 seconds behind.

i'm assuming this has something to do with atiinject as the first problem didn't happen before i got around to using it and i couldnt really test the video playback for obvious reasons. i've re-done this(click click!) method about 4 times now. i've installed leopard using iatkos v7 with voodoo 9.7 as the kernel.
