Howdy y'all. I have searched and searched this forum and I didn't know where this topic should go so I figured this was the place to post. No problem to report, really. Just thought I'd let y'all know that my HP dv1000 variant should have come with Mac in the first place. :thumbsup_anim:

I managed to get Leopard up and running on it. I still haven't updated to 10.5.8 or whatever the latest update is due to the fact that its on the Voodoo kernel right now.

But anyway, I don't know about the majority of other DV owners, but mine came with the remote controller when I bought it. It was awesome when I watching movies or performing powerpoint presentations. I am actually surprised that it is still working with LEOPARD! With the remote, I can put the notebook to sleep, boot-up, adjust volume, skip tracks on iTunes, switch monitors (with the exception that the paperclip is messing things up), and still navigate powerpoint slides! Ain't that exciting? If this is old news, then please don't mind me.

Thank y'all and have a nice day!
