Hi,

I've tried to install iDeneb 1.6 (Leopard 10.5.8) on a Packard Bell EasyNote MX61-B-019 and the 1st boot runs fine until the moment i should see the country dialog (or the Leopard intro video).

Some specs :

CPU : AMD Turion 64 X2 TL58

Chipset : SB600

GPU : Ati 2400 HD

I have checked :

9.8.0 modded bios for AMD CPU to work

PS2 Fix for the touchpad and keyboard

SB600 Chipset stuff

ATI_TY universal ATI HD Driver (I tried without)

I don't have "Still waiting for root device" and everything seems to load fine until the moment it hangs. With the video driver I have a black screen, without I get a messed up screen.

I already have installed this distrib on several computers, even VMWare, but this time I don't see what could be wrong.

What can I do to run or install in a more compatible way (cpus=1 fix or similar) ? Is there chameleon options I can try to debug things ?

oh, and I've seen this topic already : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...507&hl=mx61

not really useful for my problem BUT someone already succeeded in booting Leopard with the same laptop.
