Mettiu
I have installed a totally vanilla Snow Leopard (then upgraded to .1 via software update) on my Acer Aspire 5720G. It seems to run flawlessly like Leopard (even better.. since now I can use the vanilla kernel), instead for the fact that today I tried the notebook without plugging in the power cord and I have noticed a strange problem (which I had not in Leopard or Vista): the battery life drops instantly after only few minutes. It is 100% at the beginning, and once it reached like 98% I get a message that says that I have to plug the power cord or the system will sleep in few moments... (if I check the remaining time I get 2 minutes or so...) Does anybody know how to solve this issue? The battery itself is almost new and should resist for a couple of hours or so....
