embedded123
I'm using the Intel82566MM.kext. mac os x detects my Intel 82567 LAN on my Dell E6400. The problem is that i'm getting 169.254.213.36 ip and not a valid ip address from my router. I've got this lines in the system log: Intel82566MM: Ethernet address 00:23:e8:a1:d8:0b ring desc success: size->4096 virtual:5461f000, phy:1f266000 ring desc success: size->4096 virtual:5462c000, phy:1f1e7002 configure tx tdlen->4096 configure rx tdlen->4096 Intel82566MM info: link is up 100 MBps Full Duplex, flow Control: RX/TX All of this seems correct. so why i'm getting self assigned ip? embedded123
I'll refine my question: Has anyone managed to get a working LAN on mac os x 10.5.7 vanilla using Intel 82567 Ethernet? I just need to know if it is possible.
