photoin Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Hi Guys I've install for my first try mac osx sys on my new hp pavillion dv9740el , this machine was sell with vista inside ! I've install a new hard drive, and I've install Ideneb 10.5.7. At first i've set one type of driver audio , video and so on .... At the end the pc start and work . Now I was install many program for testing he work more speed that vista , and now use all ram inside all 4 gig ..... But when I try to connect my video camera , i've see that nothing answere from pc.... I've try to search for any solution but nothing ..... Also wifi (Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) don't work , here i've find driver wifi3945 after install , at start up of system a kernel panic give me that this driver don't work properly. Start system with -x (safe boot) and I have removed wifi kext how describe in the install procedure. Now I could say that if you don't need any video camera and you buy another wifi card you could use mac osx in hp dv9740el and work more speedy. But I ask to the guys here, if you know how install driver for IEEE 1394 please help me ... I know that i'll buy a new wifi card but I need 1394 for connect my video camera . many Thank Photoin at bottom the technical spec of my pc......
