gt170
I got a eeepc 1000H running perfectly 10.5.8. Had 2 partitions with almost identical 10.5.8 installations. yesterday I updated one of them to Snow Leopard, but now sound is gone. Both partitions have the same dsdt.aml, everything fine, but Snow doesn't load the voodooHDA. Any chance to find out why? any idea on how to cure this? Already tried repairing permissions with no luck. anyone could provide a working VoodooHDA.kext? Any other kext that migh conflict here with voodooHDA? system.log says: can't load / failed to load VoodooHDA.kext - (libkern/kexkt) validation failure (plist/executable) with plain version 0.21 (from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...wtopic=175372#) as well as with Thireus 0.22 (with fixed version number) no help with kext from here either: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?...mp;hl=VoodooHDA solved by reinstalling with kexthelper (actually used the one from here: http://cid-8b65993ef55cf014.skydrive.live....6?view=details) now have audio out, but no audio in .... Sound works now with Mic in, after installing (kexthelper) the voodooHDA with the correct corresponding voodoohda.prefpane from http://voodoohda.googlecode.com/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192440-snow-eeepc-1000h-no-sound-why-is-voodoohda-not-loading/ Share on other sites
