How to switch from NVidia to ATI 4670? (or VESA)

I had my System up and running with a NVidia GS 7650 Card and installed upgraded to a

ATI 4670. Of cause it didn´t really work with OSX booting as usual.

When I enter -x "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" at the boot prompt

OSX starts up in the desired res and almost everything works. Sound doesn´t work. But

on the other hand it now shuts down correctly which it didn´t do before.

I know there is no driver for the 4670 but since I am using OSX86 for iPhone Development

I can live with the VESA mode. But how can I switch the driver?

Bonus question: What can I do that the shutdown Problem is away when I dont boot with -x?

What drivers are other 4670 owners using?

my Config:

iPC 10.5.6 updated with iDeneb 10.5.8 Comboupdate

ALDI MD-8818 PC

OK, so how can I tell it to attach the standard VESA driver (or whatever driver it decieds

to use when booting with -x) everytime I boot?

Problem is that the NVidiea driver ist still installed but I changed the graphics card.

Hmm... it works in my system at least when I boot with -x I can work with it.

It doesnt support acceleration, though.
