NecP550
I'm using the Kalyway 10.5.2 distro on my IBM S50 desktop. My LAN (Intel PRO/100 VE) works straight after the installation, but for some reasons the LAN card doesn't work after a reboot. Not every reboot, but I think just random? I followed one of the instructions to add my vendor ID (I actually didn't check it with windows because I only have OSX running on it) but after I added the code from the topic and did a permission repair it started to work again. So I don't know if I added the right code or the right code was already in there. But after te permission repair it worked again. What can be the reason that my LAN isn't working sometimes and what can I do about it? When it doesn't work, I can reboot as much if I want, it keeps not working Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192398-intel-pro100-ve-stopped-working/ Share on other sites
NecP550
update: if I just do repair permissions with OSX86Tools it still doesn't work, so I gues adding 0x10928086 to the kext file did do the trick in the first place. But why doesn't it work right now anymore?
