Hi all!, thanks for taking ur time to click on this post, I have abs. no clue what I'm doing so I will appreciate ur patience...

**Using iAtkos 7 ;) **

Ok, I have tried booting with, -x, -v, -x -v, -r and it still crashes! I don't know if it's kernal panic or if it's the bootloader (I don't know what kernal panic is lol :(:( )

I get to Chameleon v2 and I select my partition (named OSX) and wait for around 4 or so seconds... I then see a new status message on the top-left, reading, "starting Darwin x86" It suddenly restarts my PC after displaying that message!! :(

Any help is v. much appreciated, and thanks in advance :D !

Hi, new problem, how great... I got it to work up to the apple boot screen and I get the spinning wheel and a square with (what looks like) a 'no-entry' sign lol... I get the following in '-v'

"Still waiting for root device"

and this will keep repeating :( !

Hi,

I am stuck at the following stage: "starting Darwin x86".

Thanks

Hi there. I have learned alot over the past 4 days thanks to nobody on these forums, my own interest and determination have led me to learn about this. I see posts on these forums left un-answered about this topic and if it is so common it should be answered! People are just too lazy... Well I found out by installing one of the ACPI drivers, IDE/SATA drivers, and voodoo kernel (older one) that I have got past the 'still waiting for root device' problem. I am at a new problem now though, a blue screen and my computer has frozen, nothing unusual in the -v mode. I believe it's a problem with my chipset? (Intel a915P) on an old Sunshine Gigabyte board. I am running with intel P4 Prescott CPU. Any help is much appreciated and I respect if u respond to this post unlike others who don't bother!! Thank you.
