I tested on my PC with AMD 4200+ on VMware workstation 6.5.2, here are some reference for you: 1. you need to create the hard drive and cdrom with SCSI interface for the virtual machine. 2. you need to make sure the NIC simulate as Intel 82540EM, the easy way is create a Free BSD 64 bit virtual machine. 3. please select the AMD patch 1 for installing the Leopard on a AMD system notes for the NIC: the NIC will work for you virtual machine only use DHCP, the easy way is set the NIC as NAT for the VM the NIC will always shows in no connection state, but it really can work if using DHCP. I hope can help you.
