moransatv Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 first of all hello... as many beginners i find myself a bit confused but i'm not ready to give up yet... i want to start with my system specs so it will be easier for you to answer. cpu: Core 2 Due 7500 motherboard: Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H sound (on-board): Realtek ALC889A High Definition Graphic Card: PCI-E Nvidia Geforce 9400GT 1gb (With HDMI) Memory: 2gb i've managed to get ipc distro (final version - ppf5) after reading the "complete begginer guide" in the osx86 wiki wich recommened this version. well know before i start the installtion process i would like to get my hands on the driver i need (kext if i'm right). i've searched the forum and i found some helpful threads relating my hardware but i wasn't sure about the spesific drivers and i'll be happy if u can point out the drivers i need and the way i install them (if they aren't in the ipc distro) *importent: my computer is connected thru HDMI cable to my LCD (sound and picture thru the same cable as u proboly know) and i need drivers that will allow me to get pic and sound thru the HDMI port on the Graphic Card. well i hope to dive to the osx86 world as soon as i can and i hope you'll be able to assist me... best regards and tnx to all -edit i forgot to mention i have win7 currently installed on one partition and i plan to install the osx on a different partition which will be about 200GB size... is it enough? is it Even possible? the dual boot option comes with the installation process or should i expect to loose my win7 at the start until I'll manage to put up the boot program? I am trying to install to a laptop partition so were a little diffrent but if there is anything I can help you with in the near future I will do my best us noobs have to stick togeather. moransatv Posted October 16, 2009 Author Share Posted October 16, 2009 damn i just found out that's not my motherboard (store rippd me off i guess) my mobo is Gigabyte G41M-ES2H and i could not find even one theard about this board in this forum... in the meen time i installed the ipc 10.5.6 osx and i got the boot0: error problem... i treid to set it active thru osx setup but same error... i tried to fix the boot thru win7 cd and i got my win8 working and a diffrent error boot0: MBR boot0: done and now i'm stuck :\ please will somone with greater understanding will assist me with this thing?
