elchicochino Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Hi everyone, I have a sony vaio vgn-cr320E and i've been trying to load SL with chameleon 2 rc2 for the last 5 hours. Every time i run the -v i get an error saying that it is unable to initialize the UIM. Here's the picture I don't know what i can do to fix it, does anyone have any idea? Dude it totally works, in fact I am writing on a VGN_CR320e right now! Use the 123 Chameleon Boot CD vanilla install for internet RealtekR1000SL.kext Keyboard and mouse appleACPIPS2Nub.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext ApplePS2Keyboard.kext ApplePS2Mouse.kext ApplePS2Trackpad.kext Power Management VoodooBattery.kext VoodooPower.kext Audio VoodooHDA.kext System SleepEnabler.kext then use X58_Mobo_Patch_Installer for EFI Partition to start up without CD! I just copied the CD extras to the EFI partition! OH also you will need OSx86 tool to fix video string kext utility to install the kexts and when you are all done you will have to do the updates. After the updates the screen won't work, you will have to boot Hard drive on a computer with nvidia video and reinstall the video kexts! It was alot of work but it works GREAT! Have fun!
