Darnei Tiger Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Alright, so im running an ECS KA3-MVP motherboard with jMicron chipset (ugh.) Anyway, i noticed that in a *LOT* of distros, my optical drives arent detected by the system. However, in kalyway 10.5.2, they're detected and working great. So what i want to do, is i've installed kalyway again on a seperate partition. i want to back up and transfer the kexts for the ATA or optical drives and install them in iDeneb 10.5.7 or 10.5.8.
