Ycc
well, now Im getting somewhere!! reinstalled vista so I got rid of magicdisk and all other virtual devices(dont know if that was the problem), bought drd-rw and dvd+rw, burned iDeneb_v1.6_1058_Lite_Edition on dvd-rw, and the install went fine! yeeay! I had to change places of the harddrives in the multibay, and got greeted by chameleon! , but then my screen goes berserk... how should I continue from here? I have downloaded lastExile pkg for my card, but don't know what to do with it.. ( yes, I am a real newbie!) pdave54
Congratulations on getting so far by using your initiative ok it would seem you have a video problem. You can boot with different flags in chameleon here is a list http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99891 verbose is good lets you see whats happening a bootup in your case boot in a lower resolution and/or safe mode (you can use a combination) then you can find & install the right video driver (kext) for your system Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192113-anyone-succesfully-installed-on-dv7-1275eo/#findComment-1342309 Share on other sites
