FIXED: Flashing icons finder menu bar

As said, i updated my Leo4AllV3 install to 10.5.8 with the iDeneb update package. I then restored my kernel i had before and all the kexts.

 

It was fine at this point. Except for the DMG mounting issue.

 

So to fix this, i went back up to the new 10.5.8 vanilla kernell, 9.8 i think. and also replaced the system and seatbelt kexts with those from 10.5.8. However, now my finder bar flashes all the time, airport shows no connection, there is no time, and no language bar. Also system preferences crashes if i click International.

 

Any help?

 

EDIT: Found the fix!

 

Delete the file /Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SystemUIServer.plist

 

then in terminal run:

 

killall SystemUIServer

 

and that's it!
