Ok. I have installed iDeneb v1.3 ump-teen times on my desktop. I have gotten a spinning wheel on some, others just the grey apple, and some don't even show anything without boot flags ie: cpus=1 busratio=20 fsb=133 -v -f -x. My configuration is as follows: MSI x58 Platinium SLI motherboard, 6GBs of Patriot DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GTS 250 PNY Edition, Sniper Case, 650 watt Antec power supply, 1TB SATA HD, 80GB SATA HD (Not sure of model), IDE CD-RW/DVD-RW with lightscribe, and multiple boot discs. I have a Mac Mini copy of 10.5.4, the boot 123 disc for installing the store bought DVD (Which too, won't boot) as well as many versions of Windows. I've tried everything that I can think of. I turned Hyper-Threading off in the BIOS, change my HD config to RAID, reinstalled iDeneb, added all the packages, the selected none of them. I'm not sure which packages I need to chose, but I thought that it would work if I just installed all of them. I have been all over the forms, google, ect. NOTHING!!! With my current installation the farthest I can get with the boot flags: cpus=1 busratio=20 fsb=133 -v -f is where it says right before Mac OS Version: Not yet set, then, below that, it says Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.2 [Date]; root:xnu-1228.4.31~1/RELEASE_I1386, and freezes... :) I don't necessarily want to fix this problem, I just want to get Mac OS X to boot. Completely Confused..... ;)
