Hi,

I have everything nice and running here (iDeneb 10.5.8, downgrated AGPGART.kext to 2.2 because scrolling {censored}ed up the frame buffer, put in other soundcard because onboard ADI1980 crunched and only worked on left channel).

My configuration is:

ASUS K8V Deluxe (VIA Chipset)

Athlon64 3400+ (Clawhammer, 1MB Cache, SSE2)

1024MB of DDR

Sparkle 7600GS 512MB

CMI-based soundcard

So, first of all:

(Leer means Empty)

Is it normal that it shows only 512MB insted of 2x512MB? Activity COntrol show full 1024MB:

Then, when I build a project in Xcode containing a WebView, it crashes with SIGTRAP, even AMD-patched. I wonder it this is SSE3-related.

Last, I wanna know how much improvement (if any) would it bring to build in a Venice-based CPU, which supports SSE3 (but has half the L2 and 200MHz more, but the same rating. But the question is about the SSE3). It would take a little to find such a CPU, so I wanna know if it's worth.

Playing a 720p-Video results in 100% CPU usage, so any performance boost is welcome :(

Regards
