juzza Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Hey all, GA-G31M-ES2L should be arriving in the mail tomorrow, and I can't wait to try out installing OSX 10.6 on it, the only problem I have with this board from my current one is that it only has 4 SATA ports while I have 5 SATA drives I need to connect (4 HDD and 1 optical). I have a JMB361 based PCIe 1x card which works fine in Windows/Linux but I'm not sure how it will go in OS X retail, after having it not work with the iDeneb distribution on my P5K-C. My question: Will this card automagically work in OS X 10.6 retail, and if not, how can I make it work? It's kind of a deal breaker for me running the OSX operating system at this time.
