However, when boot in 64bit, the "Realtek USB WLAN Client Utility.app" does not work.Just jump, jump and jump in Dock, and does not work ,any ideas? Thanks everyone. perfectjudith
i got my guide in installing from here, thought i try to contribute something... i too have 8187l wifi for my mobo, this way works for me: 1. download and install newest driver for 8187l for 10.5 from realtek, extract the .zip file and remember where the .pkg is located 2. download/use pacifist, open package and locate the .pkg for 8187l 3. extract .app from the 1st package and 3rd package to a folder of your choice 4. install the kext file with kext helper b7 (have to have a user password on your mac to install) 5. put the .app in your application folder or anywhere of your chosing 6. restart and you're done hope it works for you as it did for me, im using 64bit fyi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/191794-realtek-8187l-wireless-network-card-not-work-in-64bit%EF%BC%9F/#findComment-1335046 Share on other sites
