MetalMatrix Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) Currently running iDeneb and updated to 10.5.8 My system runs fine but whenever I install SL, I get a panic on startup and doesn't load the OS. (See attached Screenshot). No issues with BIOS/CMOS resetting. BTW. I'm installing and booting SL from a USB Hard drive. I tried using this post and a few others. Specs: - Asus P5LP-LE Motherboard - 3 GB 533MHz DDR2 RAM - Core2Duo @ 1.86GHz - ATI 2600XT 512MB PCIE (I know it will have issues in SL. Will replace if I can get SL working) - Intel GMA950 onboard Video (Disabled) - SATA Controller set to AHCI - IDE connection for DVD Burner - PCI Ethernet Card (Don't remember but 10.5 picks it up no problem. Onboard Ethernet doesn't work). - SATA ports 1/2/3 used for Hard Drives - For Audio in 10.5 using AppleHDA Patcher from a dump I made. Any suggestions? EDIT: Fixed my panic with a patched IOATAFamily.kext but I have new problems. It just freezes and doesn't load. Even to get to this point is very slow. Struggles to find root device and struggles at "Waiting for DSMOS..." My Extensions being used: - fakesmc.kext (Version 2 from netkas) - IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext - IOATAFamily.kext - JMicronATA.kext - NullCPUPowerManagement.kext - OpenHaltRestart.kext - PlatformUUID.kext (Customized for my HD) Edited October 13, 2009 by MetalMatrix Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
