Hello, this is my first post here on InsanelyMac and I post this calling for help...

I downloaded OSx84 1.5.6 burned it into a DVD and booted from the DVD without a single problem , I made a partition (20GB) on a Hard Drive and formated it into a compatible Apple OSX format , I selected the partition and the drivers I wanted to install I did not select a Bootloader and the installation continued smoothly. When finised the computer restarted and when the time for the OS to boot came it displayed this message :

System Config file '/com.apple.boot.s/Library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist' not found

Here is my hardware if that helps:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ 2.80 GHz

2,00 GB RAM

Nvidia Geforce GTS 250

and a gigabyte S-series motherboard

If you want more details about the problem please ask me..Thank you in advance.

I tried reinstalling OSX into a clear partition , I again configured the drivers and installed without one problem. When I tryed booting from hard disk it again displayed the same error... Can you tell me how to fix this. At least suggest me the easiest version to install and configure for use on a PC with AMD processor . An other Question if I used grub bootloader would it see the MacOS X partition ?
