daryl0505
Hi, after successful SL installation in my MSI wind, I'd like to activate its overclocking capabillity with speedstep functionality thru superhai's Voodoopower. The purpose is to achieve the best system performance and at the same time is still to save power for battery life and maintain system temp as cool as possible. Objective: Intel Atom speedsteps from 800/600MHz (UC) to 2GHz (OC) with undervolting thru Voodoopower. I tried this with Coolbook, the program is unstable/buggy in my system, but shown positive results. The setting with Coolbook is only limited from 1 to 1.67GHz together with undervolting, so over/underclocking is not possible. Voodoopower is more promising, I believe we can achieve this more freely. But to do this, you should have a good understanding in programming which I don't have. If there's anyone can help in customizing the source and recompiling Voodoopower for wind. There's also a thread discussing Voodoopower here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=143898 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/191625-voodoopower-on-msi-wind/ Share on other sites
