Hi everybody, something strange's happening... it's driving me crazy: well I bought a Mac Book Pro 15' few days ago and I wanted to install my Final Cut Studio suite (original, purchased in 2005, I use it on my iMac).

Before, I decided to "have a look" inside Final Cut Studio 2 so I downloaded it (not original). I install FCS2 on my MacBook and everything's allright. Then I uninstall it so I can install my good old original FCS. No way.

At the end of the cd number 1 - exactly when I can read "Executing scripts of package" - the installation progress seems to stop and freeze for a lot of hours. It seems not to go ahead.

WHAT the hell CAN I DO?

Ps: I tryed to uninstall FCS2 in several ways: by dropping application in the trash, using FCSRevore and AppDelete softwares, ho read the apple support web-page about how to clean manually FCS files from my Mac... no way: I can't re-install FCS2 or FCS (original).

Please help me if you can.

Simone (sorry for english, i'm italian)

FCS 1 doesn't support intel processors, unless you have the .1 upgrade. Go back to using FCS2, or FCS3 (newest release). The Fxplugins alone are worth the cost of admission.
