danielty Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 I wanted to install the kalyway 10.5.2, but at 30% of installation progress, the PC broked itself and I had to restart it... I've looked at other releases, but it had the same problem. I want to tell you that I used a dvd-rw and twice I used a DVD-R, but it hadn't boot... What I have to do??? My pc is: MB:ASROCK P4I65G, Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ, HDD WD 5000 CAVIAR GREEN (500 GB), ASUS AH 2600 PRO (ATI 2600 PRO) and a sony dvd-rw optical drive.... Thank you for understanding my mistakes. I installed iatkos v7 and i restarted my pc, but it didn't boot(it appears a black screen with an underline in left-up corner(when i installed and boot loader) and a boot0:error message without bootloader) I have installed in this pc windows xp,too. But what it was the problem with chameleon 2.0? Isn't work it with my pc??? danielty Posted October 13, 2009 Author Share Posted October 13, 2009 So, I resolved the problem with boot0:erorr, but now is the boot0:MBR, boot0:DONE_ <== _ is blinking and it doesn't do anything.... I installed iatkos on the second partition of the drive , and at first partition I have the windows.... How I make the first partition inactive or to force the chameleon to boot from the secod partition??? Please help me...
