Hi,

I read quite a lot of postings, but didn't really find an answer. I got a ATI Radeon 9700 PRO AGP card with 128MB in my desktop PC, and I need a driver for it to get beyond the 1024x768. I'm running iAtkos v7 with voodoo 9.5.0 kernel. I'm pretty new to hackintosh, so if anybody can point me to the right direction (probably also including download links), that would be great.

Regards...

PS: Unfortunately the search function does not work, so I was not willing to browse all the posts on the last 40+ pages.

Well easy answer... It wont work.. it is just to old..

Tiger or the first versions of leopard will be your best bet..

and a tip you can use google to search the forum also...

in google just add site:www.insanelymac.com/forum to your search string then you just search on this forum :(

Hi,

thanks for the google tip - well, that's really unfortunate but I'll probably simply switch to some NVidia card. Do you know by chance if there are similar restrictions there, because I could simply use a GF4 4600 card for example.

Regards

Anything older then a series 6 from nvidia is also to old.. the FX cards have had leopard support but in i belive it was 10.5.5 the kexts was changed to be PPC only... You can use 10.5.4 kexts to get the FX cards to work fine again tho.
