I just finished the download of iATKOS v7 but I have a problem the zip file is corrupt. I read the instruction of the release and it turns out that I didn't check the md5 checksum of iATKOS iso image.

Make sure that the md5 checksum of your iATKOS iso image matches the one in md5.rtf file. Do this MD5 check just before mounting or doing anything with the iso image! Otherwise you may have a faulty DVD image. Use quality media/burner and burn slowly.

How do I check that? I have downloaded it 2 times already and it still doesn't match up...

An MD5 sum is a way to verify that the file is correct (non-corrupted), but it won't repair damage. It's usually computed with a utility called md5sum. The Wikipedia page on md5sum includes links to Windows implementations. Under Linux, it's normally installed by default. Here's a blog entry on how to install it under OS X. (I've not tried that procedure, though; for me, everything goes through Linux, so I use the Linux md5sum program.)

For CD/DVD images, you must normally compute the MD5 sum from the image file before burning a disc; the image read off a burned disc often has extra data at the end that throws off the sum.
