cyruses
I have an IBM Thinkpad A31 (Intel Pentium 4 1.9GHZ, 1GB of RAM ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, 80GB HDD), and I wanted to run Snow Leopard on it. So I went to my local Apple store and purchased Snow Leopard because I heard you can boot from the retail DVD now using a Chameleon boot cd. I've got no access to any blank cd's, and I need to get the chameleon bootup working on a USB flash drive. I found a tutorial that provided a .iso that boots up Chameleon, however when I simply extracted it and copied the files, it didn't work. Is there anyway I can get Chameleon to boot with the USB drive, and to configure the usb drive under windows? cyruses
Bump, I tried burning the boot cd for the Retail DVD, it reads on all my other computers, but on this IBM it just won't read I keep getting a Blinking Light. However when I insert the Snow Leopard DVD, the computer has no problems reading it, it just gives me the installer for Boot Camp drivers. I think the problem is that the drive is "dieing" and I need to get the boot cd onto my usb drive (my usb is 2GB). Thanks in advance.
