sierradump
Hey, So I got interested in the OSx86 project a few months ago but gave up after several attempts (like seriously weeks) at trying to get it successfully install. I recently got 5 Dell GX280 machines off e-bay so that I could try again with hardware that is said to be "supported" according to the HCL. WELL I MANAGED TO GET THE "SUCCESS" SCREEN AT THE END OF INSTALL! HOWEVER; Now I am just getting boot loops at the "bios" screen... It runs POST and then screen goes black; 3 lines of code pop up and then the machine reboots. I have searched and searched and it looks like maybe I need to set the partition as active, or install a bootloader (darwin?) or something. I have TRIED these things but honestly don't know what I am doing and always end up re-installing after I fudge around to try and get it to work... I.e. I tied to install darwin w/ efi - didn't work so I reinstalled. Then I tried without efi ... didn't work so I re-installed. Anyway I know have a clean installation and am asking for some help PLEASE. I would really like to get this to work! THANKS!
