A Nonny Moose Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 Well, after winning a huge case against Microsoft and open source browsers, a company called Eolas has now taken it upon itself to sue everyone else, including Apple, because they invented browsers with plugins!!! As always, the lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, well known for giving plaintiffs megatons of moolah for these kinds of lawsuits. Here's patent 5,838,906 which has been upheld in every legal battle they've faced so far and from the looks of it, they will win a gaggle of greenbacks from a ton of companies.
