Lawrence Camp Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 I had QuickTime X installed on a MacPro 2.8 GHz with Mac OS X 10.6.1. I wanted to upgrade to QuickTime Pro which requires QT version 7. When I tried installing v 7 it said it couldn't install over v X. I removed v X by moving it to the trash, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm assuming there are still files installed somewhere that are related to QT X. I would appreciate advise/ideas about where to find these files, and other ideas if you think files aren't the problem.
