Hi guys,

I have a simple question. This is my hard drive. I have Windows 7 and XP installed on different partitions and dual booting with the Windows 7 boot loader. I have two more partitions just for data. My question is: Can I create another partition and install on it Mac OS X 10.6 and are there any speciffic requirements for that?

Thanks in advance!

Sure you can ;)

Create an NTFS partition or so, and just before installing Mac OS X,

use the diskmanager from the disk to convert that partition to HFS,

because Macs can't run on NTFS.

That's exactly how I did it.

Greetings.

Yeah, but after installing, where should I install the chameleon boot loader? On the same partition? And will it boot my Win 7 and XP? Thanks a lot :)

When I installed Leopard, the installer didn’t ask where to install chameleon.

I don't even think its possible to choose Chameleons location, Chameleon is probably always installed in the MBR.

But I'm not that smart :')

Oh, and Chameleon should be able find your Windows installations automatically :)
