banders
I installed 10.4.5 using myzars patched DVD, in sysytem profiler he shows only SSE2, but with 10.4.3 was SSE3. was this myzars DVD patched for SSE2 only processors? --------- P4 3 Ghz Prescott, 512 MB RAM, intel D865GLC Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19110-macosx86-1045-no-sse3-but-should-be/ Share on other sites

gwprod12
Did you install any SSE3 package? If I recall correctly, the SSE3 kernel isnt installed by default on the Myzar....... You can always download the 10.4.5 maxxuss kernel, and apply just the base patch (assuming you're using an intel cpu). PS. the 10.4.5 Maxxuss package is a little hard to get.
