PlektorDK
Hey i have a Asus s101 running iatkos 10.5.5 and everything is working properly except the Wifi and Ethernet. I have bought a new Wireless card on ebay to get it working. But i also need the ethernet working so i went to the apple store and bought the Apple USB to Ethernet Adapter, but i can´t get it working i have downloaded the kext from here http://www.sustworks.com/site/news_usb_ethernet.html But it does not show up in network, i think it has something to do with the Apple USB Ethernet creates a fixed BSD-based name "en0". Now, i have a built-in ethernet that was detected as en0. How do i get this working please help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/190826-apple-usb-to-ethernet-adapter-on-hackintosh/ Share on other sites

PlektorDK
Click on + to add a new interface...maybe its there wating to be added..... I have tried that but it just makes another ethernet connection which doesn´t work. I think it is because the onboard Ethernet is located on en0 and i know that the Apple USB to Ethernet uses en0 too. So it might be blocking it. But how do you change it, i dont know how to disable the onboard ethernet.(Atheros).
