Acer 8920g Sound

I have an Acer 8920g:

 

00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller [8086:284b] (rev 04)

 

I installed ideb 10.5.8, the only sound driver that does anything for me is Azalia after installing it i can see the audio mixer and the os recognizes it as an output, but there is no sound, several days later the sound worked once, after i restart, it stopped, now it works every 4-5 boots randomly. I've tried every driver i've seen on this forum with no luck, any suggestions?

 

Edit: I finally found something that works. It's the newest beta Voodoo here. you'll have to delete the azalia kext first (AppleAzaliaAudio.kext) or the AppleHDA.kext depending on what audio source you've tried in the past.
