However when I was building it I did not think to check the firewire ports on the motherboard. When we eventually got it to his house everything was working apart from the firewire ports which coincidentally is the most important thing for him because he is a DJ and all his decks and music equipment etc run off a firewire connection. Specs and software: OSx86 iAtkos v7 Asus P5W DH Deluxe Ati Radeon X1950 Pro 4GB Patriot DDR2 1TB Hitachi hard disk Although it would be better if I could get the motherboards onboard firewire ports working I do not mind if I have to get a separate PCI firewire card. The only problem for me is that I really need to get this system sorted ASAP! Any help/suggestions/recommendations will be much appreciated.
