tsoifamily Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 I have installed microsoft messenger for mac 7.0.2 and connects through a proxies network from our school. I use Authoxy to authenticate the http proxies of mac messenger (because not supported by the messenger itself). however, i entered my username and password, no matter what account i use, it replies "cannot log in because your username does not exist or password is incorrect" but i'm definitely sure that the password is a right one. i can log in through my windows vista but not in mac. i have also tried deleting the preferences of mac messenger as indicated by the microsoft help but to no avail, i still cannot log in. what should i do? it's very important for me to use mac messenger as they block ebuddies, etc most of the time but allow us to use msn messenger at all times... thank you all for helping me!
