crait
Hey, this is my first post on this site! I've used it for a while now trying to figure out how to get Leopard onto my Dell Latitude D620 ATG. Um.... for educational purposes only. These are the specs that I've found: * Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.17 GHz) * Screen: ATG shock mounted 14.1†WXGA (1280 x 800) 500 nit brightness * Memory: 1GB (2 x 512MB) RAM DDR2 667MHz (Max of 4GB) * Graphics: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 * Hard Drive: ATG shock mounted 80GB @ 4200 RPM 1.8" HD (swappable with non shock mounted faster 2.5" type hard drives) * Wireless: Dell Wireless 1490 (802.11 a/b/g) * WWAN: Dell Wireless 5700 Mobile Broadband (HSPDA) Sprint * Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista * Optical Drive: 8x DVD +/- RW module (modular) * Ports: Serial, docking connector, 4 USB, VGA, 1 PC card slot type I/II,headphone/speaker out, infrared port, RJ-11, RJ-45, AC power * Security Hardware: Integrated Smart Card reader, TPM 1.2 Security chip, Optional UPEK fingerprint reader * Weight: Starting at 6.3lbs (with weight saver instead of optical drive installed) * Dimensions: 13.27†x 9.38†x 1.72†(width x depth x thickness) Here's Dell's page for the computer: http://www.dell.com/content/topics/topic.a...g?c=us&l=en I've tried iAtkos v7 and iDeneb v1.3... They both installed properly but after trying to boot for about 10 minutes I would get a Mac symbol with a 'not allowed' cursorbut it would still act like it was loading.. I didn't know how to fix my problem so I tried iDeneb which would give me an error as soon as I tried booting. Here's a picture: Anyone have this same notebook and successfully installed Leopard onto it? Or can anyone point me to or tell me how to do it properly for my machine? Do I need to get more information on my computer or do I have it all here? Thanks in advance!
