vfx Posted June 4, 2006 Share Posted June 4, 2006 I got everything work pretty good. Dual boot xp and macos. Here are some curious questions that I really want to know, please help me find out. Thanks in advance. I did the whole chain0 thing in xp, whenever I select to boot Mac OS X from XP boot menu, It loops back to the xp boot menu ( by let the 10 seconds automactically count down). However, if I hit any key, then i can select the mac os partion under macosx startup option and sometimes mac boots fine. But mostly, it stuck at the Darwin command line and i had to reboot. Seldom, it also gives me the local root command line as well. I read somewhere on the forum to solve this problem by disabling the duo core performance in Bios. It works pretty fine but I want to leave it the way it is. So i don't have to change it everytime i boot into xp. Thank you for reading this.
