ASUS A6JC QUESTION

hey everyone,

 

I've been looking to install MAC OSX 10.6 on my ASUS A6JC Laptop, it's currently running Windows Xp. I have a retail copy of OSX Snow and I was just wondering if there are specific guide for using a retail version with certain models of commuters? or can i just use any 10.6 guide?

 

Also has anyone had any success with the same model with 10.6?

You can :

1 - boot with Hackboot v.1 cd

2 - eject the cd, insert Iatkos S3v2 snow 10.6.3 and press F5, select iatkos install dvd

3 - use -v arch=i386 cpus=1 platform=X86PC , just in case...

4 - choose the basic stuff : vanilla kernel, intel ich7

5 - Reboot with Hackboot

6 - Combo update to 10.6.5, don´t shut down

7 - use [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to install bootloader chimera and some other stuff you might need

 

My webcamera does not work (syntek), not all voodooHDA works well, im using version 0.2.52 but internal mic is not recognized, atheros works as Airport, geforce 7300 go works full with NVinjectGo 0.2.0 with ID iopcimatch 0x01d710de&0x0000ffff, behaves like a mac...
