I personally have not had luck getting fan control on IR working under Win7 on multiple systems (as I've posted on this very forum). I came across macfan (http://macfan.sourceforge.net) which at the moment is command line but has a 32 and 64 bit version that works fine for me. It only controls the fan speed.
