chandlerhill
I'm new to this board, so I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I downloaded OSx86 10.4.3, burned the ISO image onto a DVD, and booted from the DVD-ROM drive on my Toshiba Satellite M30. I'm not setting up partitions; I only want OSX on the system. Here's my problem: when I boot, I hit enter and it says that it's loading Darwin. Then I get a grey background with the Apple logo and an animated circle. After several minutes of nothing happening, a circle with a bar through it appears over top of the Apple logo. EDIT: At the moment, I'm downloading the files tiger-x86.tar.bz2 (apparently 10.4.4) and MacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso. Would either of these work? I am trying to find other torrents; but unfortunately The Pirate Bay does not seem to be fully operational yet.
