I asked in the forums before, and got help, but it lead nowhere =[ My specs SATA Western Digital HDD IDE LG DVD +/- RW XFX GeForce 8800GS Video Card ASRock P45TS Intel ATX Mobo DDR2 SDRAM 4GB and an Intel Core 2 Duo Wolfdale CPU i added the updated bios from osxcores no help. my dxdiag is attached if anyone needs the CPU-Z info i can upload that too... At what point does it freeze, before or after install? Srob101 Posted September 30, 2009 Author Share Posted September 30, 2009 My bad All three actually stop at SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x0b, ASC = 0x00, ASCQ = 0x06 just one of them has a kernel panic when it gets to that point and shows that right after anything i can do? could it by any chance be that im using an IDE dvd drive, and not SATA?
