Sean T. Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 So I get Kalyway 10.5.2 installed, and it asks to restart. So I restart, and boot into the OS X partition. Then the post install animation and setup comes up, and I get past the keyboard setup and basic language and keyboard layout pages, but at the "Transfer files to your mac" page, I choose to not transfer anything, and try to continue.. but at that point it just hangs for about 45 seconds, then the screen goes gray, and then the animation restarts and it brings me back to the first post install page.. I've tried re-installing, and using different patches for my AMD, and different video kexts, but it doesn't seem to change anything.. I'l also tried booting with -v -x cpus=1 Here are my specs. Dell Inspiron 531 AMD Athlon X2 5200+ 2048MB RAM Nforce 430 chipset w/ Geforce 6150SE onboard nVidia 9600 GSO - 768MB If anyone can think of anything to fix this, please help me out.. I'm an IT Tech, but a complete newb to the hackintosh.
