cashman
Hello folks!!! I have been reading insanelymac posts for quite some time now, never had any real problems installing OSX on any of my PCs ( i have solve the problems on my own) until now: I bought an HP Pavilion Elite M9600 Series PC with this specs: Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz Pegatron X58 based motherboard (specs: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=IP...ULK&cat=MBB ) 12Gb DDR3 1333Mhz ram 1Tb WD Black Edition HDD TS Corp DVD writer ATI Radeon HD4850 Video Reatek ALC888 Audio Intel 85267 LAN Card Ralink 2800 series Wlan So now to the problem: I can install iDeneb 1.4 or 1.5 (boot with Mach_970 kernel). The install finishes just fine, but on the first reboot the machine hangs on the message: " Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster " i googled anything, tried differend kernels with no luck... I dont have a mac at home so many of the tutorials just dont work for me... How is it possible that the installer lauches fine, the machine on the other hand doesnt ? I tried using the same kernel from the DVD! Anyone with an advice maybee ??
