Hi there I'm trying to install iATKOS v7 10.5.7 on my PC. My PC is running the Intel DG965WH board with a Core 2 Duo 1.86Ghz, 1.5Gb Ram, and tested with 2 different graphic processor.

First, with the original setup, I have the above items along with an ATI 800XT PCI-e card installed, the DVD will load the first time with a kernel panic error, I restarted the PC and it loads fine with the spinning wheel and after several minute it pops up a stop sign in the middle of the screen and stops there. I've reboot twice more after that and got no where

Second setup, I've taken all PCI cards out, and also removed the ATI card and turned to use the onboard Intel graphics card and tested again. First load again, kernel panic error, rebooted tho, this time it goes into the apple screen and stopped, no spinning wheel this time around, and just stops there. I booted twice again with same result.

I've been reading about the same board and people have been saying if you have an IDE master CD drive it would not load the image for boot, is it still true?

If so, will I have to use an external usb dvd drive to load the OS?

If not, what issues am I having?

If anyone can get back to me on that it'd be great thank!
