i think the best way (and easiest) even on 64 bit mode is to download efistudio and add from there the string for your card... google for it! bye!

p.s (i have a 9800gt from XFX brand and it works perfectly in both modes:) )

If you're in 32-bit (kernel and drivers) mode you can use NVEnabler (project OSX forums).

If you're in 64-bit mode you can use the device properties string for the 9800 that comes with OSX86Tools.

The EFI strings thing did the trick thanks!

BTW... nice hardware :-) (same Mobo/cpu and videocard)

What's this?

I received an email notification about a PM from you, but it came from the site above.

I clicked the link and logged in without thinking... I've changed my passwords on all the scene forums now.

To answer your question (if it indeed was you), look here:

Grab my latest DSDT from this post:

Also follow the link I posted there to the speedstepping thread - since you have the same CPU as me, you can use the DSDT I posted there to get native speedstepping with 8 p-states. I'm not sure if you'd need to change your model identifier to iMac9,1 as well. That's what I use.

Yes, the P5Q-E is a really nice and compatible hackintosh board. Only major hurdle is the CPU aliases thing but that's easily fixed.
