Hey everybody.

So it comes to this. I introduced the idea to my father about using distros to install OS X on PC's. He started with leo4all v3,,, and then at the recommendation of my fine ex-girlfriend he downloaded Iatkos v7. He has had extreme success on every one of his old school Pc's. Making this very frustrating to me. I can get past the bootloader with no problem.. click through all of necessary clicking... customize the install to my PC's specification.. the Install starts.. runs smoothly for 5 or so min.. then either freezes or goes into kernel panic. Once or twice I got it to give me an error "Install Failed" I have never had a successful Install yet. I tried using Leo4all as well with kind of the same problem. I added a video card. Ge-Force 6200 into the mix.. graphics worked alot better.. but still no "successful install"

My Specs:

P4M800PRO-M478 VIA CHIP SET

INTEL CELERON ® 3.0 GHZ PROCESSOR

1.5 GB DDR-2 RAM

SATA DVD

SATA HDD (250 GB HITACHI)

GEFORCE 6200 GRAPHICS CARD

MAYBE SOMEBODY OUT THERE HAD A SUCCESSFUL INSTALL AND CAN GIVE ME A FEW TIPS ON HOW THEY GOT IT TO WORK? OR IS MY MOTHERBOARD A LOST CAUSE.. AND YES I KNOW ITS A CHEAPY. THANKS FOR READING.. AND I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR RESPONSES
