MartinHiher
I have a dell optiplex gx520 and i am useing kalyway 10.5.2 and i installed it to 10.5.8 and i am getting a kernel pannic when i try to mount a dmg file i did some research if i am right i have to have a kernel of 10.5 or higher i have modbin kernel 9.3.0 do i need to upgrade my kernel and what would be the best upgrade path? i Have a Dell GX520 Machine and Installed iDeneb 10.5.7 and everything worked for me out of the box, if you want 10.5.8 download OSx86 Tools and backup your 10.5.7 extensions, also repair disk permissions and just install from Apple Update . after reboot open osx86 tools and restore extensions, and you have a perfect working machine with full hardware support. turn off serial, floppy ports in bios. Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz Processor 2GB 667Mhz Ram 80GB HDD SATA!! Very Important IDE DVD-ROM Intel 915 Chipset with 950 GMA Graphics Card Just download AppleAC97.Kext for audio support. Komoma
I have a dell GX520 as well I used Ideneb 10.5.8 but for some reason the machine is not getting an ip assigned by the router and works only on a direct connection. I have 2 more windows based machines behind a DIR-615 but they are having no problems. * I already tried another port * Switched cables already * know that the network adapter works because I can access the internet. Any suggestions? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189400-dell-optipklex-gx520/#findComment-1297742 Share on other sites

Any suggestions? will only work on a manual IP address, example if your router address is 192.168.1.1, set your hackintosh to 192.168.1.15 and works perfect!
